Start with a good BlendTec or Vitamix blender. You want at least 2 or 3 horse power.
Add:
- 4-16 kale or beet leaves
- 1 banana
- 1/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 scoop protein powder (e.g. whey)
- 1 cup yogurt OR 1/2 cup baked Sweet Potatoes for body
With these items in the blender, fill with water up to the 32oz line.
Put the top on and blend ("Pulse" button) until the green leaves are all broken up into little pieces.
Now throw in
- 10oz frozen strawberries
Do a long blend (I use the "Whole Juice" button on the BlendTec).
Drink up! Refrigerate any leftovers.
