Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (two sticks, or 8oz) butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup rice krispies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Allow butter and eggs to come to room temperature (could take several hours) or microwave the butter to make it soft but not liquid.
  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt; set this aside.
  • In large bowl, whisk together butter and sugars.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Add flour mixture.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, mixing as you go.
  • Bake 12 minutes.
